CNN’s Anderson Cooper spoke with Ani this past Friday on AC360 about the ongoing struggles for democracy in Burma, and specifically about the status of Aung San Suu Kyi, the democratic opposition leader currently under house arrest. Aung San Suu Kyi, a Nobel Peace Prize recipient, is currently on trial for allegedly breaking the terms of her detention which was scheduled to end this month. Starting May 16, the Henry Ford Museum in Dearborn, Michigan appeals to the rockers in all of us with their new exhibit “Rock Stars’ Cars & Guitars 2.” Featuring more than 20 cars and over 50 guitars, the show includes one of Ani’s own acoustics on display along side axes from Jimi Hendrix, Gene Simmons and Alice Cooper and cars from Elvis Presley, Sheryl Crowe and Soundgarden.
