Day 2 in Washington went off without a hitch. Rolling with the Indigo Girls has been amazing. Great crew. Great energy. And, well, the girls are the sweetest. They sung Happy Birthday to me on stage last night! Maybe I’ll post a video of that… If you haven’t seen, I’ve been a little YouTube crazy lately. Last night I uploaded a video of me singing Chief, by Patty Griffin, in Edmonds. First song of the last set of my 20’s, it was.

Matt Morris | The Early Show with Joan Osborne Category: Music

Tomorrow morning I’ll be performing with Joan Osborne on The CBS Early Show, singing a duet of her song, “Cathedrals”! I’m really excited! Being on the road with Joan was amazing, and having the opportunity to perform with her again is a true pleasure. If you’re an early riser, be sure to tune in, or if you’re like my mom or my grandma you can record it on your DVR! This is a pretty big deal for me, and I’d love for you to see it.

I’ll be heading back out on the road next week, making a few stops in California and then heading back east to Philadelphia and then to NYC. The final stop on this short November run (short compared to the 22 shows that Joan and I just finished!) will be in my hometown of Denver. I met so many wonderful people during the past month, and I hope that you’ll all be able to come out for my solo shows.

Matt Morris | 21-city tour with Joan Osborne!

Making music is, for me, a spiritual act; a clarion call to stir up the waters and raise Cain with an honest song.
