The webcast is hosted by CreativeAllies.com, an online design community that lets anyone submit art in official design contests for high-profile artists like Jack Johnson, M.I.A., OK Go, Amanda Palmer, and Thievery Corporation.
Costa is hosting his own design contest on Creative Allies, inviting fans to make a custom snowboard design. The winning ally will receive a $350 licensing prize and a Snowboard featuring their graphic, and three runners up will receive a Matt Costa autographed CD.
For Friday’s live webscast, Costa will take the stage at 1 p.m. PT/ 4 p.m. ET, so be sure to tune in!! The webcast will be filmed by students at Ex’pression College for Digital Art and simulcasted on Ustream.
