CAMP BISCO 2008 : COLOR WAR ANNOUNCEMENT

 

  Join us for the 4th annual Camp Bisco Color War!  Bodies and egos have been bruised, custies bunk'd, and sweet victory tasted by many; Come out to the field again to relive those carefree summer-camp vibes of yesteryear, and take part in the best events from our previous competitions to ensure a ferocious challenge for both brain and brawn!  Can Purple maintain their high-volume victorious momentum?  Is Orange's new leadership enough to take back the championship?  Can Green muster the muscle to match their mental might?  Will Yellow overcome 3 years of defeat to come out on top (or at least show up)?

Leading PURPLE, the 2007 champs are returning Captains Mike Shapiro and Tara Christakos, joined by co-captains Cailin Boucher and Morgan Boyle.

Heading up the always ferocious GREEN Team, 3 year Color War veteran Colleen Stern and co-captain Justin Port.

ORANGE, with new leadership, will be hitting the field with rookie Captain Amy Fischer and co-captainSara Seepo.

Last but certainly not least, returning captain Amber Toot and "Mr. Color War" himself, Yancy Davis will be storming the field to take the glory for YELLOW.

3 will wallow in defeat.  One will rage their way to eternal glory.

Show up on the Color War field at any point all day to be thrust into the action, or email colorwar@campbisco.net early to get you and your friends placed on teams for all the pre-Camp fun.

Third Stage to Feature Several Electronic  DJs and Bands!

Lineup to Include: DrFameus, Zack Hagan  with Live Band 1050, Sci Fi, Otherwise, Playloop Records & HEJ Label  Rosters - AND PEX Performing Artists (fire dancers, hoopers, and more!!)

Atlanta,  GA (June  24, 2008) The Disco Biscuits have announced the addition of a third  performance stage for Camp Bisco VII. The third stage, open only on Friday and  Saturday, will feature a wide variety of electronic DJs, bands, and performing  artists - including fire dancers, hoopers, and more!

The  third stage will include sets from a very eclectic mix of DJs including:  DrFameus featuring EdvsAL; Playloop Records artists - Ross D, Justin Paul,  Kezner, DJ Everyday, and Locality & Playloop tag-teams; HEJ Records artists  - DJ Punisher, John Overfiend, and Sassmouth; as well as more live bands  including roc-elle records artist Zack Hagan with live rhythm section 1050, Sci  Fi, and Otherwise.
